Miguel Martín (LyricsGaps) – Interview (Part 2)

This is the second (and final) part of the interview I conducted with Miguel Martín from LyricsGaps. Check out how the conversation started here!

PART II

MUSIC & YOU

When did you become interested in music? What was the first album or single you ever purchased?

I have been a music lover since I was a child, but I honestly can’t remember the first album I purchased. Nevertheless, I remember that I liked Aerosmith a lot, so maybe it was one of their albums.

Are you in a band yourself, or have you been in a band in the past? Is there a clip on YouTube or elsewhere we could watch?

No, I don’t not have enough talent.

Musical likes and dislikes? Favorite artists?

I am always listening to the radio, so generally I like all the knd of music that comes through it. These last days I have been listening more than usual to Carlos Jean’s new song, “Lead The Way”. Also to “Who´s That Chick” by David Guetta, and “On The Floor” by Jennifer Lopez. You can find all these tracks (and many others) in lyricsgaps.com.

If you had to name the song that moves you the most, what would it be? Can you pinpoint the reason why?

I have been always a fan of Pereza, whenever I listen to the song “Princesas” (http://www.lyricsgaps.com/exercises/mode/281/Pereza/Princesas) I just have to stop doing whatever I am doing and go with the music.

Is there a song that – to you – captures the spirit of your startup and what you have set out to do? What would it be?

Perhaps “I gotta feeling” by Black Eyed Peas, because we hope that this year is gonna be a good year 😉
