MUSIC & YOU

When did you become interested in music? What was the first album or single you ever purchased?

I became more interested in music when I discovered stuff that was more intense than what was in the charts. I think that the first experience in that sense was listening to Joy Division’s ‘Unknown Pleasures’.

Are you in a band yourself, or have you been in a band in the past? Is there a file on YouTube or elsewhere we could watch?

I’ve never been in a band, seriously at least.

Musical likes and dislikes? Favorite artists?

Too many to mention. But sure I can say that recently I’ve been listening to a lot of stuff that has a lot of electronics in it.

If you had to name the song that moves you the most, what would it be? Can you pinpoint the reason why?

Right now, I feel a lot of empathy for ‘Chosen Time’, an old New Order track, for the simple reason that it’s a great song and we picked its name for our company [Chosen Time is the company that owns Filtersage – you can check it out here: www.chosentime.com].

Is there a song that – to you – captures the spirit of your startup and what you have set out to do? What would it be?
